PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
The Ring Main Unit (RMU) is a compact, lifetime sealed metal-enclosed switchgear widely used in urban distribution networks. It contains one or more load switches (LBS) and earthing switches for incoming and outgoing lines, as well as vacuum circuit breakers equipped with corresponding disconnectors.
RMUs are available with different rated voltages depending on requirements and are suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations. All switchgear and busbars are sealed for life in stainless steel housings filled with SF6 gas, ensuring a high level of safety, reliability, and a maintenance-free system.
