


A switchgear is an electrical equipment mainly used for opening, closing, controlling, and protecting electrical equipment during the generation, transmission, distribution, and energy conversion processes of power systems.



High voltage switchgear: Usually includes busbar room, circuit breaker room, secondary control room (instrument room), feeder room, etc., and each room is isolated with steel plates. Low voltage switchgear: It is divided into fixed and drawer type according to the installation method of components. Drawer type switchgear consists of a fixed cabinet body and a movable device part.
Internal components: It mainly includes circuit breakers, isolating switches, load switches, operating mechanisms, transformers, and various protective devices.
Classification: According to the installation method of the circuit breaker, it can be divided into movable and fixed types; According to the cabinet structure, it can be divided into open, metal enclosed, and metal enclosed armored types; Divided into high-voltage switchgear (above AC1000V) and low-voltage switchgear (below AC1000V) according to voltage levels; Divided into AC switchgear and DC switchgear according to voltage waveform.
