Cable Room & Low-Pressure Chamber
The cable room is mainly used for the connection of cables, enabling single-core or three-core cables to be connected with simple unshielded cable heads. The ample space accommodates components such as arresters, current transformers, and lower grounding switches. The cabinet door features standard viewing windows and safety interlocks. The cable compartment floor is equipped with a sealing cover and appropriate cable clamps.
The interlocking low-pressure chamber functions as a control screen, equipped with a spring-operated mechanism and mechanical interlocking devices. It can be fitted with auxiliary contacts, trip coils, emergency tripping mechanisms, and electric operating devices. The 750mm wide cabinet includes two identical low-voltage chambers for additional accessories.
Ring Main Unit (RMU)
The RMU is composed of a bus room, load switch or circuit breaker room, cable room, and operating mechanisms. Each compartment is divided by steel plates to prevent failures from affecting adjacent sections. The bus room is located in the upper part, with main bus bars arranged horizontally for easy expansion.
Load Switch & Circuit Breaker Room
The load switch room uses epoxy resin shells filled with SF6 gas for arc extinguishing and insulation. Contact states can be observed through transparent end covers. The circuit breaker room, located centrally, can be equipped with vacuum or SF6 circuit breakers. Vacuum circuit breakers are ideal for frequent network operations, featuring reliable spring-operating mechanisms with reclosing functions.
